FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM: CULTURALLY RELEVANT FOOD FOR LOW INCOME AND HOMELESS MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY
Updated: Apr 5, 2021

Our Food security program is on-going. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have supported over 1000 members of the community by providing free culturally relevant cooked meals and culturally appropriate food hampers for low-income and homeless Black families and individuals. More than ever, low-income and homeless members of our community need support. The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified many of the challenges that they already faced. The pandemic also brought new unexpected challenges.
Our free meals and food hampers program need constant support. To learn how you can donate, please contact operations@equalchance.ca or donate to our gofundme page to help us sustain this important program: https://www.gofundme.com/f/meals-for-hope-serving-our-community
