Current need: Backpack Drive

This year, we need your support again. Please help us by donating 7$ or simply bringing a bag for a child or youth to the foundation

Dear Community Members,

As we gear up for the upcoming school year, we are excited to announce the launch of our annual Backpack Drive. This year, we are starting early to ensure that every student has the supplies they need to succeed, with distribution planned for the end of August.

We are reaching out to our wonderful community for support. If you are able to contribute even one backpack—or more—it would make a world of difference to students in need. Our organization relies heavily on the generosity of individuals like you to support community members facing challenges, and your contribution, no matter how big or small, can have a profound impact on a student's educational journey.

This year, we have a goal to donate 800 backpacks in the community; and together, we can reach that goal!

To donate a backpack, simply send an email to operations@equalchance.ca, and our team will provide further instructions on how to drop off your donation or send an etransfer to operations@equalchance.ca

You can also simply enter your information below and a team member will get in touch with you as soon as posssible.

Please note that on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, we will be accepting bags in the parking of the foundation at 428 rideau street from 11:00AM until 3PM. Please feel free to drop by and drop a bag. Thank you in advance!

Please not that the bags will be distributed to ALL and ANY child or youth in need regardless of their gender identity, race etc! There are many children and youth in the shelters and low-income neighborhoods that we serve who need these bags! Hard times hit everyone and we are supporting all children and youth in the shelters and neighborhoods that need the most support!
